Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Netly LLC (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Netly VPN iOS application (the “App”), a VPN client.

1. VPN commitment (App Store Guideline 5.4)

We do not sell, use, or disclose to third parties any data collected through the App for advertising, marketing, analytics resale, or any similar purpose.

We do not read, inspect, sell, or monetize the contents of your VPN traffic (websites, messages, files, or other payloads). Traffic is processed only to deliver the VPN connection you request.

We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not share identifiers with data brokers or advertising networks.

2. Data we collect

Consistent with our App Store privacy labels, we collect:

• User ID — your account key / account identifier used to sign in and manage access.
• Device ID — a stable identifier for this installation, used to manage sessions and device limits.

To operate the service we may also process limited technical information necessary for the VPN to work (for example: selected location, connect/disconnect events, and temporary connection credentials stored on your device). We do not use this information for advertising or tracking.

We do not collect: contacts, precise GPS location, photos, payment card numbers inside the App, browsing history of sites you visit through the tunnel, or advertising identifiers for ads.

3. How we use data

We use the data above only for App Functionality:

• authenticate your account and keep you signed in;
• provision and operate the VPN tunnel on your device;
• enforce access status and device limits;
• keep the service secure and fix outages;
• respond to support requests you send us.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.

Infrastructure needed to run the App (hosting and VPN nodes) may process data solely on our instructions to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by applicable law.

5. Storage and retention

On your device, account session and VPN credentials are stored using iOS Keychain / App Group storage.

On our servers, account and session records are kept while your account remains active and as needed for security and operations. You may delete your account in the App settings; we then delete account data from our systems, subject to short-lived technical backups.

6. Your choices

• Refuse the iOS VPN permission — the App will not tunnel traffic.
• Sign out or delete your account in Settings.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).

8. International processing

We may process data in countries where we or our infrastructure providers operate. We take steps appropriate to protect the information.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
